We are here!

Oh, my...where to begin... Just wanted to say that we are in our new house, and are all wondering if it is possible to be in love with a house, because we seem to be. I have yet to take pictures--probably because we are still unpacking, and things are just starting to become orderly, but there should be some soon.

We are so glad to be out of the hotel! (Except for Emma--she claims she still misses it.) I have thought of one thing that I do miss: daily housekeeping service. And that is the ONLY thing that I miss. Even the Texas-shaped waffles we could have every morning got tasting pretty tired by the end of the five weeks. Some day I will write about the things that I don't miss about being there. I have a pretty good list already going in my mind.

Tarzan or Jane?*

Well, here we are at 20 weeks in this pregnancy already. Of course, for those who know, that means it's time for the ultrasound in which the gender of the baby is (usually) clear!
Wanna know what we're having?
Do you? Do you? :)
It looks like we're going to have another little Jane!
The reactions of the kids are mixed... Scott wanted a brother, but is happy he gets his own room still. Emma wanted a boy, but is just as happy now that it's a girl. Gracie has always been convinced it's a boy, and was even at the ultrasound today, and after the news, she kept muttering, "It's a boy, it's a boy, it's a boy, boy, boy," in Lone Ranger fashion. But she seemed to accept it, because she blurted the news to the others as soon as we picked them up from school. (She did ask if the baby could be a boy when we get to our new house.) And Caytie is still clueless about it all, and probably deserves to be for the last few months of being the youngest.
Ben and I were really not hoping for either gender in particular. A boy would be nice, to be able to use Scott's hand-me-downs, but a girl is good, too, so the four girls can share two rooms. (Always practical, I know.) But we are excited to know, because now we can focus on finding a name! I didn't know that it got so hard by the 5th child.
*By the way, Tarzan and Jane are the only name suggestions I got from my kids. They were especially excited about Tarzan, and Gracie was genuinely disappointed when I told her it was not an option. But I believe this baby's nickname will be Tarzan for a long while...
